We come home and are going thru the set-up process, and Dad is swiping the screen like it is his phone. We bought dad his first laptop last year, and allowed him to do all the research and buy it. PS: For those who have read to the bottom, thank-you, and heres a funny story for your reward that shows the absolutely horrific tech skills that my parents share: Lastly, any general tips/explanations on vaults/family plans? I haven't used either feature on 1P yet, so would be interested to learn more. Is there a better way of setting this up for my parents, rather than them having to go thru the painstaking (for me, watching) process of them setting up a 1P account? I was thinking just make a secure note on my 1P account that lists all the accounts and passwords that they wish for me to remember for them? I understand this would mean that we create a shared vault that my 1P account has access to, so I can view this 1P entry? Is that correct? They struggle with tech and would not understand 1P, so its basically they would attempt to manually remember their passwords as normal, but that I have access to these passwords in the case they forget. My parents want to make a 1P family plan, where the purpose is that I can tell them their passwords if they ever misplace their own. If I start a family plan, can I keep my current account and move it into the role of family administer. What is the 'real-world' use of vaults in a individual account? If I have a work and personal login for the same website, can I set up my work device so that it can only access my work vault? I am exploring the use of vaults, and the potential of having a family account, and have the following questions: Ofc there are a few bugs here and there, but the fundamental product is great and the white paper is fascinating and extremely well written. I've been a 1P user for a whole now (switched from LP when they changed their subscription model - lucky I did given recent events), and I love it.
